Hour of Code
For the last three years Dundalk Grammar School have taken part in the Hour of Code event which is held worldwide during Computer Science week in December.
All 1st, 2nd and Transition Year students are introduced to coding for one hour in a fun session, to allow them see what computer programming consists of. This event can then be followed up by students joining the DGS/DkIT Coding Academy which commences in January each year.
