Transition Year (4th Year Secondary)

Transition Year (4th Year) helps students to make the transition from junior to senior level within the secondary school. It is an integral part of the senior cycle and forms the basis for Leaving Certificate studies. It also offers courses and experiences not normally offered in the more rigid certificate examination syllabus.

Students are helped to become familiar with work and its responsibilities, both within the school and through outside work experience. Opportunities are also afforded to the students to develop personal initiative, teamwork and communication skills through for example, Junk Kouture, Drone Racing, Young Social Innovators and Enterprise.
