DGS enjoyed a successful day at the Leinster League Orienteering in Malahide on Wed 24th October.

Last years 1st Boys continued to dominate now in the 2nd/ 3rd Year category.

Harry Winston was the fastest over the demanding 4K course, with 5 more DGS athletes in the top 10.

The First Years provided two pleasant surprises in their 1st competitive event.

Maud Green raced round the 2850m course in 25.20 min to be the fastest girl, followed home a little later by Ronan Flanagan who was victorious over the 3600m course, finding all the controls in a speedy 28.17 min.

It was a great 1st outing of the season.
