Shell’s Driftwood chats to Business Students

Michelle Donnelly visited DGS today Friday October 27 to chat to 5th Year Business students about her craft enterprise Shell’s Driftwood.

Based in Carlingford County Louth, Michelle makes all sorts of natural driftwood hand-crafted products to order. She told the students that making these products is a labour of love for her, and she enjoys getting up each day to work from her garden shed.

In what was a very interesting talk, Michelle spoke very openly and honestly about what it is like to be your own boss creating your own product designs. She fielded lots of questions from interested Business students.

Michelle is the third speaker to come in and talk to Business students since term began, following on from the visit of Ken Stewart, Valley Forge Ravensdale, and Gillian Brady, Fuschia Cosmetics Drogheda. More speakers are lined up as the year progresses.
