National Award Winner
The eircom Junior Spiders awards ceremony took place on Tuesday 13th December at The Helix in DCU, Dublin. This is the third year of the awards, which recognise and reward primary and post primary students for the pioneering and successful ways they use the internet in their daily lives.
DGS was represented by Michael O'Neill (6th Year) for best website and best website concept. Michael won in both categories and also received the overall award!
(Another DGS student, Rollo Konig-Brock (5th Year), was also amongst the nominees for best web design.)
This concludes a truly successful year for Technology and ICT in Dundalk Grammar School which saw our students lifting two national titles:
- Irish Computer Society "Formula 1 in Schools" National Champions
- Eircom Junior Spiders Overall Winners (Post-primary)
