Congratulations to Team Octane from Dundalk Grammar School on successfully representing Ireland in this year's F1 in Schools World Championships held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
On 22nd September the DGS team scooped not just one two international trophies:
- Best Team Website Award and
- Best Pit Display Award.
Team Octane Racing were nominated in a total of four categories: 'Best Portfolio', 'Best Sponsorship and Marketing', 'Best Website' and 'Best Pit Display'.
Congratulations to Kevin, Adam, Rollo, Ben, Dan F. and Dan McC and not forgetting their teacher and mentor, Mr. Nowell. Everyone in DGS is extremely proud of their achievement. We would also like to congratulate Australia who are the new F1 in Schools 2011 World Champions.
