FAI Schools North East Leinster Division II U16 Boys Final

Dundalk Grammar School beat O'Carolan College Nobber 3-0 today (7th February 2011) at a windswept Oriel Park.  Playing into the wind in the first half it was a battle for either team to play football but with chances limited both teams were relatively happy to go into the break at 0-0.  The second half saw Dundalk Grammar playing with the wind and chances started to come.  Their cause was helped by Nobber having a player sent off for a late challenge. Goals from Strikers David McMahon and Josh Arrowsmith and one from winger Gavin McClelland was enough to clinch the title for Dundalk Grammar School, their first FAIS title at this age category.
