Boys Hockey enjoyed an exceptional 2008-09 season at DGS.
The Senior Boys won the Leinster B League. Team member Andrew Shekleton represented the Irish U18 team at the European Championships where they defeated France in the final to secure Division I status for next year.
The U16 Boys won the Leinster B League title for an impressive third year in a row defeating Wesley College 3 – 1 in the final.
The U14 Boys also reached the League final, where they finished runners up to St. Killians in a close match which ended 2 – 1.
The Senior Boys travelled on Hockey Tour to the Netherlands in October 2009 and returned home undefeated.
