Girls Basketball
The Under 19 Girls basketball team are making excellent progress in the 2011 North Eastern Basketball League. The girls led by Captain Jetta Berrill have been in great form this year having only lost one game throughout the season. They have defeated both St Vincents, Dundalk and Scoil Uí Mhuirí, Dunleer by big margins and were unlucky in losing to Sacred Heart, Drogheda by one basket.
On Tuesday 11th January the girls defeated Boyne Community School by 42 to 24 points in the semi final. They will now face their rivals Sacred Heart in the final on Monday 17th January at Gormanstown in a game that is set to be a keenly contested match.
