Christmas Enterprise Trade Fair Dec 14 2017

This year’s Christmas Enterprise Trade Fair generated a wonderful atmosphere, with the Finnamore Hall packed with over 70 stalls, the biggest number ever at this annual event.

The Fair was thoroughly organised by this year’s TY Events Management Team, Relevent, lead by Rudie Sweetnam, while the TY Hospitality Team, The Hive Cafe, managed by Patrick Mulroy, provided the refreshments, with their bakery team coming up with a wide variety of home-bakes.

The judging team of 4 was chaired by Michael Gaynor, President Dundalk Chamber of Commerce, and it was no mean feat getting round to judge the huge number of stalls.

Festive music and song was provided by Junior School students, conducted by the ever energetic Pamela O’Connor-Moneley.

The real stars of the day were the young entrepreneurs of 1st and 2nd Year, and Transition Year, complemented by a number of groups in 3rd and 5th Year, some of whom were social enterprises encompassing charities.

Yes the atmosphere was hard to beat.

Thanks also to the Transition Year students of St Vincent’s and their teachers for supporting the Event.
