Leaders on our Level Conference National Convention Centre Dublin.

This annual Conference held in the National Convention Centre Dublin aims to inspire young people to be the leaders of the future. Inspire is what it did. A range of speakers were lined up to address the 2000 young people present. Fr. Peter NcVerry, Professor Donal O’Shea, Mark Pollock, Lindsay Peat, were among those to speak about making a difference and overcoming adversity, about positivity and showing leadership, and about their life experiences and path to where they are now. Subjects covered included Homelessness, obesity, Fashion, Sport, Special Olympics.

Just under forty 5th Year Economics, Business and Accounting students attended from DGS, and it’s fair to say their feedback on the Conference was highly complimentary. They were inspired! Two of the DGS attendees put questions from the floor to respective speakers, Lucy Keneally and Olivia Winters.

Congratulations to Terenure College and their TY students for hosting this very well-run and most worthwhile Conference. Truly educational and uplifting!
